An Important Update

I wanted to let you know that I will be undergoing hip replacement surgery this week which will mean I won’t be around over the next few weeks.
You may recall I had my first hip replaced in 2018. Unfortunately over the last 18 months or so, I have been experiencing severe pain in my other hip, for which I have been receiving excellent NHS support.
In the summer, my consultant revealed that the hip socket was now ‘bone on bone’ and I couldn’t put off the surgery any longer. I’m really grateful to all the surgical team and hope that my second hip replacement goes as well as the first!
As a result of this major surgery, I will have limited mobility for 8 weeks or so, and you may not see me out and about in the constituency as usual.
Please be reassured that my staff and I will continue to support you, dealing with your cases. For urgent issues my team will arrange meetings with you, and I will join virtually when possible. My constituency office is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9am-1pm. You can also contact me and my team on abrahamsd@parliament.uk or on 0161 624 4248 with your enquiries or to book an appointment.
