Oldham Fairness Commission – Final Session

The final session of the Oldham Fairness Commission will take place on Friday 27 February, 10.30am-12.00pm at Uppermill Civic Hall, Lee St, Oldham, OL3 6AE. Please note the session will be held in public and members of the public are welcome to attend the session

The Oldham Fairness Commission aims to identify and address the causes of inequalities in education, employment and income, and to define action to address these issues through our local partners and beyond.

The three  inquiries of the Commission have taken place and examined evidence on inequalities in education, employment and income both locally and nationally.

The final inquiry will examine evidence on inequalities in population groups.

Following this the Commission will publish a report of the Commission’s analysis with recommendations. The outcome from the Commission will be recommendations for adoption and implementation by the partner organisations and agencies.

The Commissioners are made up of key local leaders from across the public, voluntary and private sector in Oldham.  To date, the Commission has held three inquiry sessions on education employment and income.
